Geek!!
I found out some criteria need to fulfill in order to excel in Sg education system:
a) super duper hardworking: must finish every revision b4 the next start.
b) 'kiasu' character: when the lecturer states a project to be 7 pages content but excluding appendix, you must do 7 pages of content + 30 pages of appendix to be ahead of others-_-". i felt so ridiculous when someone hand up a 'textbook' instead of '7 pages proposal'!
c) Genius of course......
You will be surprised if you see the education system here when everything need to be ahead of others. Yes, it might be helpful to keep the country productivity up, but it begins to put the country in a situation where there is a 'no life' country.
Competition is good, but if it has become a pheromone, it might drive ppl to crazy. Work for fun; Study for fun.
