An Idle Day at Home-Holiday Revise 1

A Long Holiday! 3 months, trying to put the pieces of puzzle, recalled wat ve i done for the past 2 months.

From 7-5-07 to 14-6-07
1) Attending class--Taking a module called' Western Film History' every Monday n Thursday 1pm-5pm... yup, absolutely rite.. 4 hrs of class non-stop, with only around 5-8 mins rest. Trying my every bits to recall wat ve i learnt.. act, not bad.. i learnt abt the 5 major studios. Paramount, Warners Bro, RKO, TCF n 1 more... thinking.. forgot wat is it ald. In which year is the birth of film.. do u know?... the ans -->1895. Yup, this i can rememeber vy clearly, coz these 4 digits worth a 10marks ques in exam.n some other, some other historical characters, old films which I am not really interested...p/s, i always dozed off in the class when the prof played the sequence of films, n when he finished showing it, i ll automatic wake up.I can't really remember wat he had shown just now. Nevertheless, i did learn something from the module, some well-known films ( which are not-known to me b4 that), such as ' Citizen Kane', 'The birth of a Nation', ' Singing in the rain'n many many more. I think, no matter which module u take, even like an artistic module like this, u would defintely learn something.

2) Working- Continue my lib job while taking the module. If i ve the chance, i would prefer to look for other part time job. The lib job is getting dull n boring. But i would not like to forgo a well-paid job like this, easy n in the campus , save transport n meals. Also, the lib staffs treat me well, Mrs Phua , Lina n Geok Huok, most important. this job's working time is totally up to my time management.. from 9-5, i can choose to work at wat time i like. But this also cost a prob to me. Last yr, as i was staying in my aunt house, I was vy hardworking, start at 9 and off at 5, days n days for nearly 2 months. But this time, as i am staying in the campus where time management is all up to myself.. i tend to work late.. from 9am, slowly to 9.15, then 9.30 then 10.. then sometimes, only afternoon session.Haiz, lazy bug. Total up.. i earned around S$600 for this vacation job, it is for my next sem pocket money.

3) Meanwhile, besides studying n working, playing is also an important element in the holiday.
First with family, with ah tong, ah kiew n see ann zai.. we went to KL n Genting. Stayed in PJ for 2 days in my uncle house. Wow, my uncle house, is a bungalow!! My mum counted the num of rooms, 9 rooms. staying there is like staying in a hotel. My uncle has 2 dogs, 1 is the golden XX dunno wat kind of dog already,named Mike,vy big n fat, clumpsy! Ann n 1 like this dog vy much.Always go to disturb him when we were free. Another one is the small dog, something like Chiwawa.. but i dun like this type of dog. HAven touch it, ald barked at me. And the big dog know how to open the gate.. so smart.
On the first nite, my uncle offered to bring us around the shopping centers in PJ. Before we can answer, my mum said: No, is ok, we dunwan shopping. Just want to stop at KL before gg to genting. -_- '''... Luckily, my uncle house has tozen of magazine n books, that's how we spent our nite there.
